The quaint country town feeling hits you as soon as you walk onto the lawn in front of the heritage-listed Shire Clerk’s Cottage: the restored classic Queenslander in all its glory, surrounded by gums and other natives that play in the breeze. And even though you’re right next to Wynnum’s Tingal Road, you can hardly hear the traffic thanks to the lower level of the clearing, the tree line, and the nearby creek which trickles quietly in the lower grove.

In the original Cottage you’ll find the Long Room, a charming space ideal for intimate gatherings, and as part of the restoration, a new room was added underneath that features a kitchenette – perfect to feed your guests!
